Both John and Steve Schantz invest additional time keeping up to date on current construction techniques and business practices. Here are some of the things we have achieved to provide our customers with a professional building experience:
Both John and Steve are proud to have achieved the Certified
Graduate Builder designation from the National Association of Home
Builders. John and Steve are not only two of the earliest recipients
of this designation in Rochester, but in all of New York State. Certified
Graduate Builder (CGB) is an exclusive professional designation designed
to emphasize business and project management skills as the key to a
professional building operation.
The CGB designation requires that graduates meet prescribed standards of practice,
possess a minimum of two years building industry experience, have a
proven track record of successful project management, complete comprehensive
education curriculum, and pledge to uphold the program's code of ethics.
John and Steve also consult with our suppliers and contractors about whatís new,
what works, what doesnít
and why. We can draw on 60+ years of practical building experience and the vast
knowledge of our subcontractors, many with over 20 years in the home building
industry. We attend seminars, and stay current with the latest books and trade
journals.
